3 words: Light and Fast. The PureGrit 7 was designed for speed, including runners transitioning from paved surfaces and roads to trails and uneven terrain. This shoe is similar to its cousin, the Mazama 2. It's comfortable, lightweight, and suitable for any and all terrains. It has the BioMoGo DNA midsole as well as the Ballistic Rock Shield that provides ultimate protection from obstacles and debris from trails. The PureGrit's sticky rubber outsole is a mix of hexagon and chevron-type lugs. It also is one of the last shoes from Brooks to have a "burrito" tongue which connects from one side of the upper and curves down giving a unique feel and fit to it.
